Designing the logo for Berlin-based techno record label Lunar Records involved merging themes of lunar activity with the dynamic, spherical nature of sound. The logo combines abstract representations of the moon with circular forms that echo the movement of sound waves, creating a visual metaphor for the label's immersive and ever-evolving music. A monochromatic color palette was chosen to reflect Berlin's gritty, raw aesthetic, giving the design a bold, industrial feel that aligns with the city’s underground techno scene.
